Robert Burns Oglesbee is an American contemporary artist whose style is a blend of realism and fantasy.
Raised in the Midwest and descended from a long line of commercial and fine artists, he was fascinated by the process of animation at an early age.
He later relocated to Seattle and pursued a degree in animation from the Art Institute, where his exposure to fine art and artists, particularly John Singer Sargent, inspired him to redirect his interests. After graduation, he experimented with various mediums before discovering his passion for oils.
Rob paints at his studio in Montesano Washington where his work in oils continues to evolve.
